Family Photoshoot session details (portrait photography)
During your portrait photoshoot session we will take approx one hour capturing lots of fun and exciting pictures, there will be no rush to get finished during the session, we enjoy our work and often like to get carried away. We recommend you bring props that are personal to you (or the model we will be taking pictures of). When it comes to selecting what to wear, we advise clothing that is plain, colours that work well together as a group. Try to select clothing that is a reflection of you, something you feel good in, if you are unsure we will be more than happy to advise you. Presentation of your Photoshoot Images
Once the photoshoot is over, we require around one week to prepare your images for viewing. The portrait viewing experience is designed to present your images with ease. There will be no hard sell, this time is an enjoyable experience. Relax and select your favourite images and presentation styles with confidence. In the very unlikely event that you do not like any of the images you are certainly not obliged to buy any. You can walk away without paying a penny and are very welcome to come back for another appointment.
Collection your Photoshoot Images
Some images can be prepared and collected on the same day, others may require a little longer before being available, most usually within 14 days of the viewing date. We don’t hold pictures on file for longer than 12 weeks, so orders should be collected before this period has passed after your session. This applies to both prints and digital files.

“Update 21.12.20 – we used Mike Turner Photography again this year which must now be our tenth consecutive year. What can I say? Against the background of a horrid year across the world and with government restrictions that seemed to change daily, Mike, Hazel and Wendy were, once again, *superb*. They followed all social distancing and Wendy, as ever, came up with fresh, vibrant, wonderful new ideas for photos. Wendy is a legend – you will not go wrong there. Mike arranged our viewing remotely which we all adapted to and Hazel was fantastic in arranging for email copies of our photos. We all had to be flexible this year and the team were fantastic as ever. We regret we didn’t have G&G for our family photoshoot this year but hope we can make up for that soon. Thanks again for being a wonderful team and we will see you next year in 2021. Thanks again for everything.
PS would be remiss of me not to mention. I was fortunate to be promoted to Lieutenant Commander and my Mum wanted some photos (guess it’s a Mum thing). It was an unusual request but the team obliged and Mum was made up with Wendy’s photos of me in uniform for her special request.

“Our family tradition continues with Mike and his brilliant team of Wendy and Hazel. We had our usual selection of photos. Wendy was brilliant with taking photos of our little boy and came up with, totally out of the blue, some fab ideas for the girls: Wendy had fans blowing their hair, garland flowers and – the pièce de résistance – jumping in the air photos. “Update 13.10.18: we used Mike again for the eighth consecutive year for our ritual, annual family photoshoot. It’s a firm family tradition and Mike, supported by his fabulous team of Wendy and Hazel have, once again, delivered in spades. Wendy worked her magic behind the camera, taking lots of shots and was so helpful in suggesting backgrounds and poses. In particular, we had a newborn (7 weeks) with us and everybody was so utterly nice and sympathetic towards the challenges and demands associated with a young baby. The pace was relaxed and the atmosphere so friendly. Mike guided us, as he always does, through the ever-difficult task of whittling down the shortlist when we went to view and Hazel made sure that everything ran smoothly. It should come as no surprise that we have already booked Mike, Wendy and Hazel again for next year.
