On a recent visit to Cornwall, we had the pleasure  of stopping in the picturesque village of Polruan beside the river Fowey, just a short journey across the river is Fowey which is also featured on this page. Well worth a visit, but just be warned, the roads are very steep and if you struggle with mobility it is not the easiest of terrains to deal with.
