I’ve not been to Anglesey for many years, in fact, I was about 2 years old on the one occasion I’ve been previously, and having had my photograph taken in the boot of my Dad’s Ford Escort, where I had been sitting playing with his keys (boot open of course), Dad took me out, shut the boot, and subsequently locked himself out of the car, and had to wait for a locksmith to do his magic and let him back into again, none of which I remember. So Anglesey was a new experience for me, and well worth the visit. Hope you like the photos.

Photos of North Wales
Well, the last couple of years have been something, haven’t they? I’ve managed to keep myself entertained over that period, but it was so nice to be able get away from home on a recent short 4 day break in North Wales, for the first time in what seems to have been forever. These photos are a selection taken on Android phone and digital SLR camera. Hope you like them.

We had a beautiful day out at Avenham and Miller Park in Preston. The weather was perfect, hot and sunny. Well worth a visit if you haven’t been before, plenty to do and see. All photographs taken on my phone camera. There’s a map of the location at the bottom of the page. You can find out more about the park on Wikipedia
Lymm, Warrington photos – Spud Wood
We took full advantage of the lovely weather (finally) and headed out for a drive, camera in hand, ending up in Lymm, near Warrington. While in the area we were fortunate enough to stumble on this beautiful walk along the canal-side known as Spud Wood. There’s a map at the bottom of the post to show you where to find it, certain well worth a visit. Hope you enjoy the photos.
Photos of Haigh Hall Woodland Park Wigan
We had a lovely Autumn walk today at Haigh Hall woodland park in Wigan. It was cold, but bright. Some lovely afternoon light available. I didn’t take my SLR camera, so had to rely on my mobile phone camera to capture these photos. Hope you enjoy them.
